Huntingdon Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities with the Huntingdon County District Attorney's Office confirmed that a Shirleysburg man has been sentenced to prison time for setting fire to a residence last April.
Officials say Jonathan Copenhaver will serve 3 to 6 years at SCI Huntingdon after he pleaded guilty to one count of felony arson in October.
Troopers arrested Copenhaver in early April after he intentionally set fire to a trailer located along Extract Road.

BAIRD, Texas (KTXS) — A mother is begging for justice after a crash on a Texas road claimed the lives of three teens. The crash happened Sunday on West 3rd and Peyton St. in Baird, Texas. Ashlie Haynes, 35, was arrested in connection to the deadly crash and charged with driving while intoxicated.
One of the three teens who lost their lives in the fatal crash was 16-year-old Ryan Bilby. His mother, Ashley Rudder, says the tire marks on the road where the crash occurred are a constant reminder that her family will never be the same.
NANTY GLO, Pa. (WJAC) — A staff member at Blacklick Valley Elementary in Nanty Glo has tested positive for COVID-19, according to Superintendent Bill Kanich.
Kanich says students will learn virtually for two weeks before returning to their hybrid model on Oct. 19.
The superintendent says school officials worked with the Department of Health to perform contact tracing.
He says anyone who was in close contact has been notified.

DURHAM, N.C. (TND) — Jessica Seinfeld, the wife of comedian Jerry Seinfeld, applauded her husband's supporters Sunday following his commencement speech for Duke University.
Dozens of graduates walked out of the ceremony as the comedian took the stage to deliver his address. Other attendees booed, which Jessica Seinfeld said was directed toward the protesters, who she suggested disapproved of her husband’s Jewish identity.
Jessica Seinfeld also claimed the rest of the graduates were responsible for the cheers that followed the walkout.

CAMPBELL COUNTY, Va. (WSET) — A 73-year-old man died after falling down a well in Virginia, according to authorities.
The Campbell County Sheriff's Office saidthe man was trapped 70 feet down in the well and was found unresponsive. WSET spoke to Brandy Guthrie, who identified the man as her father, Preston Elliott.

LAUREL, Md. (7News) — A rare dinosaur bone bed was recently discovered at a Laurel, Maryland park, according to Prince George’s County Department of Parks and Recreation.
The host of bones was found at M-NCPPC Dinosaur Park and officials said it's the first of its kind found in Maryland since 1887, marking a major milestone in paleontological research. Officials tell 7News that the term “bone bed” is used by paleontologists when bones of one or more species are concentrated within a geologic layer.
