SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — In Somerset County, a new public archery range is officially open on State Game Lands 50.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Thursday to celebrate the grand opening of the range, which is located on the 700 block of Berlin Plank Road, behind the Game Commission's office in Somerset.

Drysdale was a star basketball player during her time at Penn State and then spent 13 years as a member of the university's athletics department.

According to NBC affiliate WSAZ, 25-year-old Donquale Gray was wanted by federal authorities for allegedly shooting and wounding an officer in Virginia.

During a meeting earlier this week, the Pennsylvania Game Commission decided to temporarily halt its plan while it awaits the results of an additional public survey on the matter.
Wildlife officials say the survey will be conducted to "gauge residents' opinions" on the state's reintroduction plan.
“Given that the survey is not yet completed, I believe it is appropriate that we table this issue at this time to allow for that survey to be completed and the results to be made available to the board and to the public,” Board of Commissioners President Kristen Schnepp-Giger said.
