According to The Daily Dot, a video was posted to TikTok on May 8, in which a woman, identified by the outlet as Joanna Anderson, is heard negotiating with her Airbnb host. “So I’m here at this nice Airbnb, but it’s not so nice, because there’s notes everywhere,” Joanna Anderson says in the video, which eventually went viral and has been viewed over 11 million times.
WISCONSIN (TND) — Wildfire smoke from Canada has reached the United States and an air quality advisory has been issued for multiple states. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) issued an air quality advisory in nearly 60 counties and warned the entire state could be impacted by smoke Monday. Clearfield, PA — Dr. Mahrdad Ghaffari, head of Pulmonology at UPMC Altoona, said the burning wildfires in Canada are becoming a hazard to our air quality.
"These are very fine particles, carbon monoxide, nitrogen that come to our area and that can be dangerous for people who already have lung diseases," he said.

SIPESVILLE, Pa. – Several people were arrested after a drug bust in Somerset County Thursday. State police said they raided a home on Schoolhouse Road in Sipesville looking for Ty Soberdash, who had an active warrant. According to police, once at the home, they found a variety of drugs in an upstairs bedroom, including mushrooms, heroin, black tar heroin, pills and meth. LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Hospitality workers have walked off the job Friday and launched a 48-hour strike against Virgin Hotels Las Vegas after going nearly a year without a new contract.
Virgin Hotels workers with the Culinary and Bartenders unions made good on their announcement of a work stoppage from earlier this week, picketing the casino-resort early Friday morning.
The more than 700 striking workers come from housekeeping, food and beverage, and unionized restaurants on the property.
