STATE COLLEGE/CENTRE COUNTY, Pa — Geisinger Health System opened its first 65 Forward locations back in 2019.
The success of the initiative has prompted further expansion - including a new facility set to open in Centre County.

EBENSBURG, Pa. - The UPMC outpatient center in Ebensburg has opened.
The facility project was announced in January of 2017 and brings both UPMC family practice and specialty care physicians and outpatient testing and therapy services to Cambria County.
Cambria Township engineer Jack Schaffer said he signed off on the final inspection Tuesday, and the facility opened Wednesday.
He said some general maintenance, like cleaning up debris, filling cracks in pavement and street-sweeping, needs to be completed.
JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — Police are searching for a man they believe robbed a Giant Eagle in Johnstown.
Johnstown police responded to the supermarket along Broad Street and Fairfield Avenue just before 2 p.m. Monday. Police said a man walked up to a cashier, placed something against his back and demanded all the $20 bills in the register.
Officers said the suspect is a white man with a beard. He was wearing a navy jacket, black hat and jeans at the time of the robbery.
A financial report states the Altoona-Blair County Airport had an operating loss of over $400,000 in 2023, but the airport manager said that number is out of context, and they had money in hand by the end of the year.

RICHLAND TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WJAC) — Emergency crews responded to a building fire in Richland Township Saturday morning.
According to Richland Township Volunteer Fire Department, the fire broke out at the Galleria Burger King after 9 a.m.
Richland Towhship Volunteer Fire Department Chief said there was minimal damage to the building, however the Burger King will be closed until inspections can be done.
The cause of the fire was grease in the hood system.
